Tactical Carbine/Pistol Class (Pennsylvania)
This two day course will prepare the attendee to engage and neutralize threats for the protection of self and others using the tactical carbine and pistol.
Special emphasis is given to the fundamental principles, which provide the student with the tactics, techniques, and procedures necessary to prevail in medium range to close quarters engagements within the urban environment.

We have adjusted the round counts down due to price and availability of ammo in some areas. You are welcome to bring more, but do not feel obligated to do so.

Required gear:
- 1 Carbine (556/223; 762x39; pistol caliber carbine, etc.) with tactical sling
- 3 carbine magazines (minimum)
- 500 rounds carbine (FMJ. No green tip or armor piercing rounds)
- Chamber flag
- Ability to carry 2 spare carbine mags on your person. (plate carrier, gun belt, LBE, etc)
- 1 semi-automatic pistol of at least 9mm
- Sturdy belt with a tactical holster
- 2 pistol magazines and magazine pouch
- 200 rounds pistol ammo
- Wrap around eye protection
- Hearing protection
- Hydration
- Lunch
Optional gear (not required):
- Sunscreen/bug spray
- Brimmed hat
- Long sleeve shirt

- Knee and elbow pads
Zeroing
It is strongly recommended that you zero your rifle before class. If you do not know how to zero your rifle, please contact us at (479) 871.7580, at least 72 hours prior to class to make arrangements to get your weapon zeroed. We will not take class time up for zeroing.

Instructor Bio:
Mark Booher is the Founder and Senior Instructor for Barritus Defense. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mark spent over 5 years conducting force protection and security operations with various branches of the U.S. military and multi-national forces to include the Royal British Forces and French Foreign Legion.
Mark is a Certified Close Protection Specialist and has trained in Israel's West Bank, in counter-terrorism and security methods with members of the Israeli Defense Force.
Following his military service, Mark studied law at the University of Arkansas and spent 6 years as a deputy district attorney. During that time, he prosecuted numerous cases involving homicide, shootings, assaults, and other crimes of violence.
Mark has trained military units at Fort Bragg, personnel from the Department of Justice, Fortune 500, and law enforcement officers from over 60 departments from around the country. He is also contributor to The Counter Terrorist Magazine.

Do I need to bring my ticket with me?
- No, we will have a roster to check you off when you report for sign-in.
Are there any requirements to attend this class?
- You must be able to legally possess and use a firearm. This is not an advanced class, but you should must be maintain safety, trigger finger and muzzle awareness at all times during the course.
What is your cancellation policy?
- Due to the limited availability, there will be no refunds for cancellations. If you notify us prior to 48 hours prior to the start of class, you will receive full credit that be used for a subsequent class.
