Take your skills to the next level as we teach you how to employ your weapon in the defense of yourself and others using the same training methodology used by US military and security forces. If you're a beginner, you will leave confident in your newfound skill set. If you're more advanced, we will make you a faster and more efficient shooter. Come to one or both days!
SATURDAY: COMBAT RIFLE 1
In this course, we will guide you through the basics principles of the rifle; discuss care and maintenance; gear set-up and sling configurations; and operational concepts. From there, this course quickly takes off where we cover the following:
- Shooting fundamentals
- Multiple fighting positions
- Combat reloads and rapid fire drills
- Shooting from cover and concealment
- Close quarter and mid-range shooting
- Shooting on the move
- Urban fighting applications
- And more
SUNDAY: COMBAT RIFLE LEVEL 2*
This course will dive deeper into the principles you were introduced to level 1 to make you a true student of the gun. We will push your skills to the next level as you execute realistic shooting and movement drills relevant to threats in the urban environment.
Training covers:
- Close quarters and contact distance considerations
- Unorthodox fighting positions
- Rifle to pistol transitions
- Individual moment tactics
- Movement in teams of two
- Barricaded shooting
- Introduction to room clearing
- And more
*Combat Rifle Level 1 is a pre-requisite for attending the Level 2 class. If you have not taken the Level 1 rifle class from us in the past, you must register for it before attending Level 2.
Attendees are expected to arrive with iron sites and optics zeroed. For the sake of time and consideration of others, we will not be class time to zero. If you need help with this, please contact us before the class and we get you set up for success.
Gear Requirements
- 1 carbine rifle (AR-15/AK/Or Other Semi Automatic Carbine) with a tactical sling
- 3 Magazines
- 300 rounds for one day/600 rounds for both days (you may self-regulate for a lower round count)
- Tactical Sling
- Gun lube, rag/cleaning kit
- Hearing Protection
- Eye Protection
- Chamber flag
- Knee/Elbow Pads (Optional)
- Hydration
- Lunch
- Rain Gear (We train rain/shine)
Instructor: Mark is a 10 year veteran of the United States Army serving in both the active duty and National Guard components as an infantryman and intelligence professional. He has conducted intelligence and security operations around the world, is a certified Executive Protection Operator and studied and trained in Israeli security and counter-terrorism methods in the West Bank, Israel. He has trained units within the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Fortune 500, and officers from 60 departments around the country and is a contributor to the Counter Terrorist Magazine.

FAQs
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
You need to be 18 or older to participate in our events and must be able to legally possess a firearm.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You do not need to bring you ticket to the event. We will have a roster of all attendees taken from the registration site.
What is the refund policy?
We do not offer refunds due to inclement weather, floods, earthquakes and other Acts of God that may prevent us from cancelling an event or for other reasons. However, you will receive full credit to use for one of our subsequent events. If you need to cancel for emergency reasons, you will receive full credit towards another event of your choosing by giving us 48 hours notice before the event via phone or email.
What kind of gun should I use?
Any carbine rifle will work.
Are there any ammo restrictions?
Do not bring green tip or armor piercing rounds. These will destroy the steel targets provided by the club.
