America is changing. In less than a generation words like active shooter, IED, lone wolf terrorist, and vehicular ramming attacks have become common household terms. Oftentimes, when an attack strikes, the damage is done well before the police arrive.
During our High Threat Pistol Course for CCW's, you will learn to pair your technical skills with the gun (marksmanship) with the tactical principles necessary to prevail against a wide range of high threat situations (application).
This is a 2-day intermediate/advanced level course that will make you a more effective protector by raising your awareness and give you the skills and knowledge you need to enhance your defensive capabilities.

Strategy & Concepts
· Elements and different types of ambushes
· Threat recognition and attack precursors
· Beyond OODA Loop and color codes: How to do awareness
· Case studies of CCW defensive shooting encounters

INSTRUCTOR BIOS:
Mark Booher is the founder of Barritus Defense. As veteran of the United States Army, Mark spent over 8 years as an infantryman and intelligence professional conducting intelligence and security operations around the world.
Mark is a Certified Close Protection Specialist and has trained in Israel's West Bank, in counter-terrorism and security methods with members of the Israeli Defense Force.
Following his military service, Mark studied law at the University of Arkansas and spent 6 years as a deputy district attorney. During that time, he prosecuted numerous cases involving homicide, shootings, assaults, and other crimes of violence.
Mark has trained personnel from the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, the Fortune 500, and law enforcement officers from over 60 departments from around the country. He is also contributor to the Counter Terrorist Magazine and co-host of the Pearl Snap Tactical Podcast.
Alex Woods is a 8 year veteran of the United States Army where he served for five years in the elite 3rd Ranger Battalion. Alex is a graduate of Airborne, Ranger, Sniper, and numerous other military schools.
Alex has conducted direct action operations with multiple deployments to Afghanistan. During his career he has trained with members of the British Special Air Service (SAS), the Navy Seals, and other elite units. He is also the co-host of the Pearl Snap Tactical Podcast.

Q1: What is your refund policy?
A1: We give full refunds with written notice 21 days before the start of the event (minus credit card processing fees. We do not keep these fees.) We do not refund tickets due to rescheduling or cancellation of events because of inclement weather, natural disasters, and other emergencies, but will credit you to another event of your choice.
Q2: Do I need a Concealed Carry Permit to attend this course?
A2: No, but you must have the ability to lawfully possess and use a firearm for training.
Q3: Are there any requirements to take this course?
A3: There are no pre-requisites to take this course. However, this is an intermediate to advanced level course. You must possess the experience and ability to handle and use the firearm in a safe and competent manner. If you can shoot, reload, and handle the firearm safely, you should be fine.
