The Barritus Blood Spear is our tribute to the legendary Viet Nam vet, Joe Ronnie Hooper. In one battle, then-Staff Sergeant Hooper made the grass grow by stacking bodies 115 high using his bayonet, rifle, a pistol...and whatever else he had on hand. For his bravery and for saving the lives of his men, SSG Hooper earned the medal of honor, 8 purple hearts, and a pocket full of silver and bronze stars.
