If you think the spreading chaos we’ve seen in Seattle, Minneapolis, and Portland is about over, think again.
This week, violence shifted to Kenosha, Wisconsin, where the city has been under siege following an officer involved shooting of a man with a history that allegedly includes violence against police, a sex crime, domestic abuse, and more. Again, the usual leftist groups and other bad actors arrived in force pitting themselves against groups of armed citizens and business owners trying to protect their property. The police, overrun and hamstrung by weak civic leaders, have been largely ineffective to quell the violence. It's just one more powder keg in a string of others that has exploded according to plan. And it won't be the last. The violence in Kenosha and other cities has the internet ablaze asking whether a Second Civil War or some other conflict is coming. My friends, it’s already here.

If you've been following my posts on the American Insurgency and how you need to Prepare Yourself Now, then you know I believe that there are some serious things we are facing in the future.
Am I being a conspiracy theorist? Judge for yourself. In the past few months we've seen:
And that's just going off the top of my head. As we go into the next 90 days before the election, let me ask you this question: Call it Murphy’s Law, call it bad luck - call it what you will - but there's a saying in the military that goes: no plan survives first contact.
In the civilian realm, we also recognize that things don’t always go as planned. That’s where the concept of a Plan B or not to putting all your eggs in one basket comes from. But sometimes, even that's not is enough. That’s why the military utilizes PACE planning. PACE is an acronym which stands for: In my last post, The American Insurgency, I discussed how we are witnessing the rise of an insurgency in America in real time.
The first thing we did was orient you to the rising threat by describing what an insurgency is and how they operate. In coming messages, we will lay out the players, their goals and objectives, and what we as patriot citizens can do to fight against this. Despite the gloom and doom from some media outlets and the outright misinformation from others, we don't take this like helpless victims. You get in a vote in this. Are you ready to take action? The first step is establishing security. Are you awake yet?
For several weeks, we've watched in horror as our major cities have been burned, looted, and destroyed. No-go zones have been declared. And in the streets, our citizens have been beaten, raped, and murdered. All this while spineless politicians chime in unison with the mob to "defund the police!" How can this be? Why is this happening? The answer is that we are witnessing in real-time an American insurgency. An insurgency is an organized, politico-kinetic struggle designed to destabilized the government or political authority. Insurgencies gain support from the population through: We are witnessing no less than the systematic take down of America. Cities across the country are being looted, burned, and destroyed, while it's citizens are being viciously attacked and beaten on the streets. Radical groups are setting up autonomous zones with in some towns reminiscent of scenes from a Mad Max movie. And the scary of it all is the leadership is allowing it to happen.
Make no mistake. If they wanted to stop it, they could. There's an acronym that's been coined, which you may be familiar with. It's WROL. It stands for Without Rule Of Law. I think you understand, but the basic idea is that WROL is where the basic order and fabric of society has broken down temporarily or permanently. For the most part, laws may still be enforced, but selectively. We've seen this here before in the 60's, the 90's, and even a few years ago. But coming on the heels of Covid-19, it feels a different. Some of us choose the responsibility of being our own first responder. For others, that choice is forced upon them.
Such was the case for 73 year old Curtis Roys, and his fiancé 65 year old Melody Lumpkin, when they were attacked on April 11, 2020, at their home in Fredericksburg, Texas. According to reports, the couple was asleep in their home, when Roys awoke to the sound of banging noises outside. When Roys rose to investigate the source of the racket, he discovered a young male at the back patio. Officials said that Roys confronted 19-year-old Cleto Neri Solorzano, who then forced his way into the home through the patio door and attacked Roys with a blunt object. He then reportedly placed Roys into a chokehold, causing Roys to go unconsciousness. During the melee, Roys’ fiancé, 65-year old Melody Lumpkin, allegedly begged Solorzano to stop the attack, but to no avail. Retrieving a handgun from the bedroom and fired a warning shot at the assailant, but the attack continued. Seeing Roys’ body appearing lifeless on the floor, Lumpkin fired another shot, this time striking the assailant in the head. Officials said that once Roys regained consciousness, the couple called 911. A man’s home may be his castle, but even the most fortified castles come under attack. Here are a few lessons we can all learn when it comes to effectuating our own self-protection: When it comes to optics, there’s a new sheriff in town. Established in 2014, Athlon has wasted no time in rising through the ranks to offer affordable, high performing optics to rival those industry giants like Vortex and Bushnell’s. The Midas TSR2 is no exception. This optic has the golden touch when it comes to performance and reliability without emptying your wallet. I mounted the Midas TSR2 to my new Custombilt Firearms AR-15 and spent some time shooting with it both at home and across the country teaching carbine courses. The Midas handled everything I could throw at it, performing flawlessly. And while the TSR2 is not the most expensive optic in the Athlon inventory, it has everything you’re looking for in a quality optic. So here it is, the five things you need to know about the Midas TSR2: Sure, everybody would love a truck gun, but do you need one?
First, let's define our terms. For the purpose of discussion, when we're talking about truck guns, assume we mean a firearm that is too large to comfortably conceal on your person, but small enough that it can be stowed discreetly in your vehicle. So, no vehicle mounts necessary (sorry Ma Duece, you're out). Say, something like an AR-15 or AK-47. Anytime you're thinking about whether you should include a piece of gear into your kit or loadout, I'd recommend asking yourself these two questions: One, is it viable, and two, is it practical? First off, Do you need $3,000 is FREE gear? (Nod your head "Yes")
